Taufen im offenen Gewässer

Baptisms in open water

Cédric Brügger | 26.04.2024
On 23 June 2024 at 13:00 we will baptise in the Aabach. One person has already registered to express their discipleship to Jesus Christ and give a sign of their commitment. Other candidates for baptism are very welcome. Baptism is an expression of the desire to live one's life with complete trust in Jesus Christ. When...

Werde Teil des Projekts, Umbau Jugendhaus!

Become part of the project, youth centre conversion!

Jonas Hauser | 18.04.2024
Our youth centre is to be prepared for the next - perhaps final - stage. We are focussing our intervention equally on the current space requirements of our church operations and the necessary room hygiene measures. Designing creatively and building a church - in the truest sense of the word - is a great privilege that we are only too happy to fulfil with great commitment.

Helfe mit, die Bühne zu bauen!

Help build the stage!

Alain Remund | 12.04.2024
All the preparatory work is bearing fruit and we would like to have the stage redesigned this summer. Now many hands are needed to rebuild, set up, design, expand and realise. Would you like to be part of it? Over the past few months, there has been a lot of thinking, drawing and evaluating about how our stage in the centre can be redesigned. At the last...

The seetal chile is meant to be a living space where people can breathe a sigh of relief, become enthusiastic and return to everyday life with well-founded hope. Thanks to God's faithfulness and love, everyone's future is better than their past. That is a good message after all!

Nachfolgen – durch die Taufe in die Freiheit

Follow - through baptism into freedom

Matthias Altwegg | 28.04.2024
The journey of the people of Israel from Egypt to the Promised Land is like a picture book for following Jesus Christ. The crossing of the Red Sea is a parable for baptism. After baptism, they do not head straight for the Promised Land, but through the desert for forty years. The desert is the place where we are set to zero and the preparation for the future homeland takes place.

Discipleship - reckoning with the reality of the invisible God

Cédric Brügger | 21.04.2024
Moses followed his God. He believed that he meant well for him. He decided against his privileges as a member of the elite and instead opted for a life of hardship and suffering. He did this steadfastly because he kept his eyes firmly fixed on the one who is invisible - his God in heaven. For him, the worst of discipleship (suffering) outweighed the best of the world.

Nachfolgen – vom Besten lernen

Follow - learn from the best

Matthias Altwegg | 14.04.2024
With a little distance, it is sometimes easier to say what the decisive factors in a person's life were. The author of the Letter to the Hebrews does just this by looking back at Abraham, the model of faith. Abraham knew that his home was not this world and he trusted in the power of the resurrection. This way of thinking was the prerequisite for his obedience and true worship of God - and it still is today for the discipleship of Christ.
